Wireless Communication And Power Delivery

In order to improve the accuracy of data acquisition and monitoring system, increasing the safety, and reducing the carbon footprint of the oil and gas industry, new technologies such as sensor networks and internet of things (IoT) need to be integrated into the conventional systems. This industry has unique features that make the adaptation of IoT challenging; hence, a complete smart system for monitoring of oil and gas systems should be proposed. The objective of this project is to propose different configurations for monitoring of pipelines and wellbores. Having a distributed, low-power, and low-cost monitoring system can increase the efficiency and safety of the industry while reducing the total GHG emissions and costs.
