Bio

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Alberta, working on the design and characterization of functional inorganic materials such as chalcogenides, mixed-anion compounds, and halide perovskites. My expertise spans solid-state synthesis, X-ray crystallography, electron microscopy, and optical property measurements, with applications in solid-state lighting, semiconducor, optoelectronic and energy materials. I have published in leading journals, presented internationally, and collaborated across academia and industry. My passion lies in translating fundamental solid-state chemistry into innovative materials solutions for emerging technologies.
