Talaei, Ali


Ali is an energy and environmental analyst with more than 7 years of working experience in distinguished research institutes and governmental bodies such as City of Edmonton, University of Alberta, United Nation Development Program (UNDP) and University of Utrecht. He is expert in carbon management, energy systems modelling (including GHG inventory and mitigation assessment), techno-economic analysis of energy technologies, environmental life cycle assessment and policy design for low carbon energy system development. His works have been published extensively in peer-reviewed journals as well as governmental white papers. He has two MSc degrees in carbon management and energy systems engineering and he is currently pursuing his PhD in engineering management with specialization in energy and environmental engineering at University of Alberta.
